All SKBT facilities have programs for reducing emissions and employing environmentally friendly initiatives. We promote strict environmental compliance everywhere we operate. We are fully committed to continuous improvement in our environmental performance and to finding the most eco-friendly synthetic routes and processes through the application of green-chemistry principles and use, where possible, of Best Available Technology for environmental abatement. This commitment is demonstrated by:

• Measuring our environmental impact from energy, water use and generated waste at each of our locations;
• Continuously improving at each of our locations by establishing goals and metrics for measurable improvement in line with our business needs;
• The employment, where applicable, of best available technology for the minimization and abatement of environmental emissions;
• Safe and responsible waste handling and management with routine auditing of disposal facilities;
• Expanding our sustainability program by engaging appropriate partners up and down the value chain.
