Swords Campus Band System *
- This Band System is used at the Swords Campus. APIs will be assigned a specific EG (Exposure Guideline) e.g Apixaban is 0.003 mg/m³) therefore band 4
- Intermediates are not assigned an EG, so will instead be placed into a a band & generally controlled to midpoint of band
- The band relates to potency, with band 5 Special Case being the most potent material
- The more potent the material, the more containment required to control the exposure. The engineering in P4/P4A are capable of containing band 5/5 special care
