Seungil has over 20 years in various technical and management roles within the pharmaceutical CDMO industry.
Seungil graduated from Hongik University with a BSc in Chemical Engineering and Korea University with a MSc in Chemistry. He started his career in KRICT and USF as a research scientist.
He joined SK in 2000, as a process chemist since then moved into Marketing, Project Management and Business Management.
In his current role, he leads the project management group responsible for planning and management of projects and providing technical support.

Séamus joined Swords Campus in 2013 as Customer Planning Manager, progressing to the Supply Chain manager role in 2015 before being appointed to the position of Supply Chain Director in 2016. Séamus previously held Supply Chain and Logistics leadership roles in the Healthcare, FMCG, Hi-Tech and Construction sectors. Séamus graduated from University College Dublin with a Masters in Economics and holds a 1st Class Honours Masters in Supply Chain Management from Dublin Institute of Technology
Director of Project Management, SK biotek Korea
Gyesang joined SK in 2001; obtained a master’s degree in Fiber Polymer Engineering from Seoul National University and a bachelor’s degree in polymer engineering from Dankook University.
After joining SK holdings in 2001, he worked in CMS team, Production team, and process development team as a process chemist. He was responsible for process development, scale up and launching new products and optimization of multiple products. From 2015 he worked as a director of Production Management and now in charge of Project Management as a director, SK bioteck Korea.
Customer Relationship and Project Management Lead
Olivia has worked on the Swords Campus for 5 years, having studied Analytical Science in Dublin City University (DCU) as an undergraduate degree and two Masters Degrees – an MPhil in Plant Genetics from Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and an MBA from the Smurfit School of Business, University College Dublin. She is currently completing an Rc in Work and Organisational Behaviour from DCU. She also holds Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Olivia started her career as a Technical Transfer Chemist, progressing to the role of Operations Manager and Director of Operations. She also has extensive experience in Operational Excellence and managed the Swords campus Project Portfolio before joining the Marketing Team as Senior Project Manager.
With a background in chemical and bioprocess engineering from University College Dublin, Sheila’s first roles in pharma were in late stage R&D, and Process Development in a kilo laboratory. Following this, Sheila completed a graduate rotational program across two small molecule manufacturing sites, including the Swords campus. The rotations included Technical Services (Solvent Recovery, Incineration and Tank Farm Management), Manufacturing Science and Technology (R&D) supporting New Product Introduction and Manufacturing, and Operational Excellence, after which Sheila took up a position within the R&D team in Swords. Sheila then spent a number of years at a start-up site for biologics manufacturing before joining SK biotek in February 2018.
Project Management, SK biotek Korea
After graduating from University College Dublin with a degree in Chemical Engineering, Eoghan worked in British Steel and Inamed Medical Devices as a Process Engineer before entering the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector in Swords in 2005.
As a Senior Engineer in the R&D group, he was responsible for process analytical technology and equipment robustness. He worked on many technical transfers including new product introductions to Swords and transfers of processes to external manufacturers.
Eoghan spent several years as a shift production manager with responsibility for the entire manufacturing site before taking up his current role as project manager for new products and customers.
Kamal started his carrier in Ireland as a Development Chemist with GSK, Cork. He moved to Dublin to pursue his Ph.D and Post Doc. in Organic Chemistry from University College Dublin. During his research carrier, he has published 15 articles in international chemistry journals. Kamal started working as a value stream chemist in Pfizer, Ringaskiddy for 3 years supporting the manufacture of several commercial API’s.
In 2017, Kamal started working in Swords campus as R&D PhD chemist. Kamal is a certified lead investigator, he also has certification in project management. From 2018 to date Kamal is working as a project manager for new product introduction, he has wide-ranging experience in managing NPI sequences from the issuance of the proposal to delivery of the materials to the customer.
